Return and Refund Policy

Praktikals Return and Refund Policy

  • We know you are going to love your new bag - but we understand if you don't.
  •       If you wish to return or exchange your purchase because you have changed your mind, please return your bag within fourteen days of physically receiving your order. 

  • If 14 days have passed since you received your bag, unfortunately we will not offer a refund or exchange.

  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind on full price items during sales, we will only offer a refund if the item is deemed faulty. A store credit (valid for 12 months) for the sale value of the item can be provided.

  • Please note: items in the "sale" collection page are 'as is' and 'final sale'. No returns or exchanges are accepted.

  • Returns and exchanges must be shipped back to Praktikals at the buyer's own cost - unless there is a fault with the bag. If you purchased to take advantage of a bundle discount, the discount will be void upon return of part of your order.

    Refunds will only be credited back to the original method of payment, so if you paid with a gift card, we will send you a gift card with the same amount credited to spend at a later date.

    To be eligible for a return or exchange because of change of mind, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original dustbag. Please note that we are unable to refund or exchange products that are faulty due to misuse or not related to the manufacture of the item.

    Items purchased in a bundle cannot be split for return - all items in the bundle must be returned unused and in original condition. 

    Please note: we do not refund the original shipping cost of the item, or the cost to return it to Praktikals. 

  • Returns and exchanges must be shipped back to Praktikals at the buyer's own cost.

  • Items purchased in a set cannot be split for return - all items in the bundle must be returned unused and in original condition.

  • Please note: we do not refund the original shipping cost of the item, or the cost to return it to Praktikals.

  • Unfortunately we are unable to cancel or make amendments to an order after it has been placed.

  • Amendments include:

  • Change of delivery address

  • Change of item colour or style

  • Adding and/or removing items from the order

  • Applying discounts/gift cards

  • Full order cancellations

  • Dealing With Handbag Faults

Defects or Fault from manufacturer

We are really proud that all of the bags are checked individually prior to shipping.

  • Have you checked out the How to take care for your Handbag to ensure you know the best way to look after your bag?

  • In the unlikely event your Praktikals handbag has a fault please contact us immediately, or within 3 days of your purchase so we can arrange a repair locally, or should the fault be unfixable - a return and exchange.

  • Please note that we are unable to refund or exchange products that are faulty due to misuse or not related to the manufacture of the item.

  • Praktikals will require satisfactory proof before providing a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. A photo must be provided to support your claim.

  • If there is a major failure with an item, you may choose a refund or exchange. If the failure is minor, we will replace the relevant item within a reasonable time.

  • If the item has a minor fault (i.e. issues with bag hardware), we will attempt to have the item repaired locally (for a reasonable cost), or ask you to return the bag to Praktikals for repair, we have a four-week turnaround time for repairs.

  • If the item has a major fault (i.e. issue with structure of the bag, which cannot be repaired and affects the nature of the bag i.e. leather issues)we will ask you to return the item to Praktikals. Once your return is received we will assess the goods to determine if they are faulty and will notify you via email of the approval.

  • Then, you can choose from the following options:

  • Replace your faulty bag with a brand new one, if in stock.

  • Replace your faulty bag with another style of the same value.

  • Partial or full refund of the item


We will incur all reasonable shipping costs if the item is deemed to be faulty and will advise the most appropriate method of returning the goods. A registered tracking number must be provided for all returns.
  • We will not cover shipping costs or provide a credit refund for items which are found to be damaged due to wear and tear or misuse.

  • Please note: you have 3 days to post your item back from when we approve the return. Otherwise the return request will be cancelled from the system.

  • Once you have processed your return, please post your item to:
